As a proud father of five beautiful daughters, a loving husband to an amazing wife, and a grandfather to five wonderful grandchildren, Richard Tado has built his life and career on a foundation of dedication, leadership, and hard work. Over the past 25 years, TADO has had the privilege of coaching wrestling at all levels, fostering discipline, teamwork, and success in countless young athletes. Professionally, TADO brings over 30 years of experience in sales and business management, along with seven years in mission-specific security details and creating asset routes for currency deposits and collections. TADO has successfully owned and operated a consulting firm while also developing and executing sales and marketing plans, as well as creating and managing fiscal budgets. Additionally, TADO has designed and implemented innovative sales programs and organized a nonprofit organization, complete with a Board of Directors, to oversee business responsibilities effectively.

As the current United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, District 39-08 Chicago Vice Flotilla Commander, Richard Tado has dedicated his time to serving and supporting the Active Duty members of the U.S. Coast Guard. Now, TADO wants to extend that same Commitment, Respect and Devotion to Duty to serve as your Algonquin Township Supervisor.
